existential crisis

I feel like a failure today. I'm 31 years old. Thirty one! My accomplishments are few compared to many others. I know it's not productive to think and talk this way, but I guess I thought I would be more by now.

I know there is something important for me to do in this life; I just wish I knew what it was.

We all feel this way Holli. Even people who the rest of the world deem "sucessful". Rest assured you have a purpose, you are a good wife to John, someday you will be a mom, and I bet you influence more people than you know at work. If only by your example. Oh yeah, and the rest of us like your blogs.. that may not be what you were looking for but I guarantee you are just like everyone else and you will figure it out!!!:)

Girl, I get this way a *lot*. I mean, I'm a 28 year old freshman in college. Remember when you compare yourself to others that there's always another poor sucker who feels they come up short when they compare themselves to you!

And yes, I'm rather pleased I found Spensaur too. He was worth the wait, esp. for the "emotional Pinto" comment. Hi-larious.

You have a loving spouse. Most people cant't even say that. Work on those short-term goals and see what inspiration comes from it.

Thanks for the support, all! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has felt that way. People like my blog?! Wow.

And yes, Abel, I do have a loving spouse, and I'm so thankful for that--I am blessed in that regard. Still working on the goals!
